Hive Marks One Million Users

Hive

Currently ranked in the top 20 US App Store apps, Hive saw a surge of installs over the weekend. According to Sensor Tower, over 144,000 new installs were made in the past few days. This has led to the social network crossing the one million user mark.

Hive has taken inspiration from a variety of social networks, including Twitter and MySpace. In addition to a chronological feed, users can explore topic-based communities and hashtags. Users can also like and comment on posts and re-share them. They can even create polls, upload videos, and post GIFs.

Hive is currently free to use and does not sell ads. Users can add favorite songs to their profile and upload music through the app. They can also pay to unlock additional music tracks. Hive does not use a personalization algorithm like other social networks.

The platform also allows users to re-share posts and comments, like content, and follow other users. The app allows users to post images and videos, as well as tag posts as NSFW. Unlike Twitter, users can also upload nudes.

Users can create a profile, choose pronouns, follow people, and see who is following them. They can also post polls, share content, and comment on others’ posts. They can also add a zodiac sign to their profile and display their astrological sign.

Hive also allows users to connect their Apple Music account. Users can also add additional slots to their profiles, which range in price from $0.99 for the second slot to $1.99 for the third slot.
