Tears of the Kingdom

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is Priced $69.99 marking the first time that a Nintendo game has ever hit that mark. It comes as major publishers are raising prices for their AAA games, and it could become the new normal.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the sequel to the popular Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and also one of the best games on the Switch ever. Its open world offers a unique experience for every player, and its innovative quest system lets you pursue all kinds of missions, from main quests to sidequests. It’s a breath of fresh air in a franchise that has largely stayed stuck in a rut.

The Legend of Zelda is a video game franchise created by Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka. The series is based on the hero Link and the princess Zelda, both associated with wisdom, light, and prophecy.

Throughout the series, Link and Zelda have travelled to various lands in search of the Triforce of Power, a powerful relic that can save the world. However, the Prince of Darkness, Ganon, has stolen one of the relics and seeks its other two.

In Breath of the Wild, Link wakes up to find himself in a world that’s vastly different from his previous adventures. He’s woken up in Hyrule, a city that is both open and full of secrets, filled with living creatures and hidden populations, traders and threats.

As a result, this is one of the most expansive games in the series. It combines the design and mechanics that made games like Ocarina of Time, A Link to the Past and The Wind Waker so beloved with a sense of freedom and adventure never seen in previous entries.

The game is now available for preorder on the Nintendo eShop for $69.99.
